Why register - What is the Local Offer?

The Local Offer is about publishing information for children and young people who are disabled or have special educational needs (SEND) and their families. Information includes available support and services in the local area across education, health and social care.  If you provide a service and feature on our directory, register your Local Offer today.

How to register your Local Offer

Please complete the form by filling out your details, all required fields are marked with an asterisk(*).

You must use the original email that was either the link was sent to or that you receive information from the FIS team on.

  • If you are unsure what email to use, email the Family Information Service for advice at familyinfo@dorsetcc.gov.uk or call 01305 221066

Passwords must be eight characters or more and include at least one number. 

Once your details have been submitted, you will receive an email with a link to activate your account.

If you have not received the activation email, please check it has not been filtered into your junk or spam mail folder.  Once you have activated your account and you’re logged in, you can complete the Local Offer form.  This is a free service and you can return any time to keep your record up to date.

Contact us to be added to our directory

If you would like to create a record on our directory, email us at familyinfo@dorsetcc.gov.uk or ring us on 01305 221066.  Alternatively you can also use the ‘Contact us’ online form.  Once your initial record has been created on our directory, you can then register to complete your Local Offer.
