Personal Assistant
A personal assistant or PA is the name used for a person who is employed by someone in receipt of a Personal Budget to help them with their daily life.
Worcestershire County Council are keen to encourage people with care needs to take control of the money allocated to them and to enable them to employ staff who can support them to live more independently. We understand that it can be difficult to find the right people to help you and that there is a growing demand for Personal Assistants which is why we have developed this PA Register.
The PA register supports people wanting to find employment as a Personal Assistant to add their details onto a database so that those searching for their own PAs can find the people with the right skills and experience to support their needs.
Alongside the register there are also some useful links and documents for both Personal Assistants and people wishing to employ a PA.
As well as being able to register as or search for a PA there are some useful toolkits and links to support both prospective PA's and prospective employers.
