Heron Day Nursery offers a caring and safe setting for children with a high level of teaching in a playful environment. Our staff work to ensure each child’s needs are met in partnership with parents to support their wishes. We provide care for children from six weeks to five years and have a spacious outdoor play environment for children to explore and learn in.
The nursery has a current Ofsted rating of 'Good' (March 2017) and Food Hygiene rating of 5 (February 2020)
We offer funding for 2, 3 and 4-year-olds and we also deliver 30 hours funding which can be taken as 38 weeks or stretched year-round.
We also offer a before and after school club for St Mary's and St John's Primary school and Mabs Cross primary school. We run a holiday club which is available to all children from any school between ages of 4-11 years.
