Appy Little Plums Ltd Day Nursery is a family run business managed by owner Vicky Halliwell. It opened in January 2015 and offers breakfast and after-school services for 3 local schools.

The nursery is registered on the Early Years Register.

Children come from a wide catchment area, as most of their parents travel to work outside of the local area. The nursery employs 19 staff who live locally. 15 of these hold appropriate early years qualifications at level 2 or 3.

Appy Little Plums Ltd has an extensive garden/play area to the side and rear which gives our children the chance to develop, take measurable risks, be imaginative and learn through their play. This is an invitation to play with lots of magical open ended opportunities.

We have recently been awarded Millies Mark, this is an accreditation to prove that the setting go above and beyond these minimum requirements by having 100% of staff trained in paediatric first aid.
