I have been working with children for over 30 years - Firstly as a Nanny, then as a Nursery Nurse and then for 20 years as a Primary School Teacher. Now I'm proud to be an Outstanding Ofsted Registered Childminder, in Tyldesley. I live 0.9miles from Garrett Hall Primary School with my husband, three children (two of which are grown up and my youngest who goes to high school.)

With my wealth of experience and expertise I aim to provide high quality childcare in a warm, safe, enabling environment whilst ensuring that all children are happy and healthy. My spacious playroom is well equipped for children aged 0-10 years. The children can play and learn in my safe, child-friendly garden. My experience as a Nursery Class Teacher means that I can confidently implement the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), planning stimulating activities to ensure that each child is actively supported to reach their individual potential. We also enjoy trips out into the community to toddler groups, parks, the library and more! We are out in all weathers too, as outdoor play is a top priority. Fees include breakfast, a cooked lunch and a snack tea. I am noted for working closely with parents and carers to ensure that their child's needs are fully met. At my first Ofsted inspection (June 2022) I was graded Outstanding.
