CGL Norfolk Mentoring
Change, Grow, Live, Norfolk Community Mentoring recruits and provides trained volunteers to work in the community across Norfolk providing 1-2-1 practical support and guidance to individuals identified as having substance misuse issues.
Volunteer Community Mentors will encourage and support individuals to feel more confident and empowered in taking responsibility for some of the challenges they are facing in overcoming their substance misuse.
Volunteers are matched with a mentee and each relationship will have its own pre-defined action plan to encourage, motivate and develop confidence whilst supporting the mentee to work towards small goals and make more positive choices for the future.
We would require you to commit to a timeframe of up to 5 months for volunteering and agree to weekly meetings of up to 2 hours with your mentee in their local community.
CGL offers all our volunteers full training, ongoing support and supervision.
If you are interested please email or call for an informal chat.
