Castle Rising Cricket Club
Castle Rising CC play in the heart of Castle Rising village at the David Lindley Playing Field. The small wooden pavillion has it's own unique character and the beauty of the ground can really be appreciated on a sunny summer's evening. In 2007 the ground was used as a backdrop for an episode of 'Kingdom' starring Steven Fry.
Rising Castle, one of the most famous 12th century castles in England, is just a few 100 yards from the ground.
Castle Rising CC is steeped in tradition and still plays declaration cricket on Sundays against longstanding opposition.
