Norfolk Prepared is an initiative of the Norfolk Resilience Forum (NRF), a multi-agency group that provides strategic, tactical and operational guidance and support on community resilience planning activity in Norfolk. The Forum works together to ensure there is a planned and coordinated approach to planning for potential emergencies. The NRF is the principal mechanism for multi-agency cooperation under the Civil Contingencies Act (2004) and its boundaries are based on the local policing area.
The Forum is made up of a number of partners including Emergency Services, Local Authorities, Utility Companies, Voluntary Sector and more who plan, train and exercise together to ensure integrated emergency management.
It provides guidance to individuals, communities and businesses on being better prepared for emergencies. You can find more information on the website link below.
