COVID-19 / Coronavirus
We have created a page to provide service updates and useful resources relating to Family Information.
Within Westminster Children Centres are called Family Hubs, this is to reflect the support they provide for children and families with children up to the age of 19 years old.
To keep everyone as safe as possible during these difficult times we will not be running our timetables of play sessions and parent workshops. Bessborough Family Hub is open for essential appointments but wherever possible advice and support will be available on the phone rather than face to face.
We will continue to offer one-to-one support as well as activities and services, including virtual sessions online.
We have prepared some under 5 resource packs for you to do with your children at home.
If you would like to receive one then please telephone: 020 7641 5923 - office we will arrange to deliver to you.
In addition we have some useful activity sheets for you to download which we will add to each week with interesting things you can do with your child using items found in the home.
Ecology Centre - Nature at Home Programme
These are flexible activities, suitable for all ages and living spaces and use minimal resources, so there is something accessible for everyone. Some activities can be done entirely indoors, lots on daily walks and a few require outdoor space. We will be sending new activities every few days throughout this difficult period so stay tuned. All our previous activities can be found on our webpage.
Why not try these resources activities:
We are sorry that you cannot come to see us at the centre but we will bring some fun to you at home.
Each week we will upload a story and a sign and rhyme session so please visit this page regularly.
