Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes designed for current and future employees. Wandsworth Working and Investing in Skills and Education (WISE) offer two levels of Apprenticeships: Intermediate (Level 2) and Advanced (Level 3).

These apprenticeships are for young people aged 16-24 years. They enable young people to learn skills that lead to nationally recognised qualifications. Entry requirements are flexible and based on an assessment.  Apprenticeships are currently offered in Business Administration, Customer Service, ICT, Childcare and Teaching Assistants.

This is an opportunity to:

  • learn on the job;
  • build up knowledge and skills;
  • gain qualifications; and
  • earn money.

Apprenticeships are open to anyone living in England and not taking part in full-time education. Employers select apprentices based on practical skills and interest in the area of work chosen. Employers value keenness to work and keenness to learn.

To find out more about these apprenticeships please call the Wandsworth Lifelong Learning Team 020 8871 8627 or visit their website www.wandsworthlifelonglearning.org.uk
