Early Years SEND Inclusion Advisory Service
The Early Years SEND Inclusion Advisory Service is part of the Early Years SEND Inclusion Service and works towards enabling children aged 3 months to five years who have additional needs to meet their fullest potential within Early Years Educational settings.
The Early Years SEND inclusion advisors work closely with their Portage inclusion advisor colleagues to support transitions, as well as with Early Years education advisors who offer general support Wandsworth Early Years providers.
If you wish for an Early Years SEND inclusion advisor to facilitate a site visit, please complete a parental consent form, available under the download side bar. Please send the completed form to Elaine on the details below.
Upon receipt of the completed form, Elaine will be in touch for an initial Teams consultation. Following this conversation, an Early Years SEND inclusion advisor will be in touch with you to arrange a site visit.
Please download and use the Wandsworth templates (under 'Downloads) for a ‘One Page Profile’ and an ‘Individual Education Plan’ to help with planning for children and to support SENIF applications.
Apart from consultations via telephone or TEAMS, and site visits, the Early Years SEND Inclusion Advisory team offers regular training, please see the Modular Training Guide in the ‘Downloads’ box. The Modular training offer combines the FREE training via Dingley’s Promise with a course offer facilitated by both the EY SEND Inclusion and Portage advisors.
Additionally, to this training offer, bespoke training can be made available via your allocated EY SEND Inclusion Advisor. The team also contributes via regular blogs, and can support with SENIF applications. In addition to this, the EY SEND Inclusion advisors also support and coordinate the Nursery Inclusion Project for All (‘NIPA’).
