Gangs - NSPCC
Gangs – NSPCC a support service available by NSPCC that helps parents look out for signs to may indicate their children have joined a gang.
The helpline offers advice and support to parents.
These are not any definite signs but there are a few things as a parent that you can look out for include:
- going missing from school;
- getting into trouble at school and;
- becoming secretive.
Young people join gangs for many reasons, to feel a sense of belonging, status and power that comes within the gang. For more information please visit the website or call the NSPCC helpline.
