Childminders provide paid-for childcare for more than two hours per day, usually in the childminder’s own home. Their duties include providing a safe, loving environment and helping with children’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social development.

All childminders are registered with Ofsted.

You can find a childminder by either using the area links below, or by typing 'childminder' in the keyword search box at the top of the page, and then your full postcode in the location box.

Once you have found a suitable childminder you will need to contact them directly, using the contact information on their page, to find out if they have availability and to discuss costs.

For help finding a childminder over the summer holidays, please get in touch with the Childcare Brokerage Service.
