Calm Connections

Calm Connections supports parents, caregivers and the whole family of children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health challenges.

We aim to support families to strengthen relationships and offer a range of self-care and positive coping strategies.

If your children or young people are experiencing challenging times, we offer parents regular 'drop-in' group meetings, led by parents and supported by professionals.

We also provide a parent mentor scheme. All volunteer mentors are parents/carers with experience of supporting their children and families with a range of wellbeing and mental health challenges. Mentors provide a listening ear and support to ensure parent's wellbeing is maintained for a 3 month period, with regular review and the opportunity to be extended if needed.

For families looking for a little extra help to manage big feelings, challenging behaviours or want to communicate and connect better, we run a range of programmes, workshops and 1:1 family coaching. We also offer mindfulness programmes to families and schools.

We are based in Trafford and work throughout the Borough. All of our services are flexible and are co-created by families for families. We deliver what you ask for and when you want it, wherever possible.
