How do I add a service or event to the Local Offer?

If you create an account, you can log in and add a service and/or event to the Local Offer by choosing ‘Provider Updates’ and then ‘Create a new service or event’. Once you have submitted the details, these will be sent to the Surrey SEND Local Offer team for approval before it becomes live on the website.


Is there a way to save a list of services or advice pages that I can view again later?

As you browse the site, you can build up your own personal list of services, activities and Information pages by creating a shortlist. Once you have created your shortlist, you can email it to yourself or to others and print it out.

You can view your shortlist by clicking on 'My Shortlist' in the top right hand side of the web page. You can add items to your shortlist by clicking the 'Add to My Shortlist' button next to each entry on your search, or when looking at individual results.


Not all of my search results on Directory are relevant, how can I sort these results?

To make the results more specific to your key words, you can change the results to be sorted by ‘best match’ and by changing the maximum distance from your location.

You can also narrow your search results by using the category filters on the left hand side of the Directory search page.


I can’t find the information I am looking for, can you help?

Yes, if you are looking for a particular service or information page but can’t find it, you can use our Live Chat to ask one of the Surrey SEND Local Offer team. Live Chat is available on our Directory and Contact us pages, at the bottom of the screen.
