- preparation and delivery of hot food twice a week
- donations of essential items including white goods
- emergency referrals for food vouchers
Bury Drop In aims to provide a safe place for the homeless and those with housing needs in Bury St Edmunds. We provide warm food, friendship, and introductions to various local agencies and support groups ranging from health to housing. Launched in September 2015, we are a registered charity. In October 2018, we launched an alternative giving campaign called “Looking for Change" in Bury St Edmunds. This encourages people to help the homeless by text or online donations. This campaign welcomes backing from a number of partners including West Suffolk Council, Our Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk Police and Bury St Edmunds Town Council. Due to the success of our campaign, we teamed up with the Newmarket InterFaith Forum to launch the Looking For Change alternative giving campaign in Newmarket in March 2019. While we are a Christian-based organisation, our services are open to all
