Currently all staff in Ofsted registered settings need to be Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked. Many other services may also have staff who are CRB checked and may also require Public Liability Insurance. Legal requirements vary from service to service. Anyone seeking to use a service should make their own checks regarding suitability and fitness for purpose as well as ensuring the service has adequate policies and procedures in place including child protection and safeguarding of children and young people.

We do not endorse or recommend entries in the Directory because we are a free and impartial service. Our aim is to ensure that the information is accurate and it is up to providers to keep us informed of any changes to their service.
