Potential Plus UK supports the social, emotional and learning needs of every child and young person, with high learning potential to enable them to gain confidence, thrive and achieve fulfilment and personal excellence.
Their specialism is supporting parents and carers to enable them to support their child but recognise that it is essential to provide support to the child themselves; the whole family and the professionals that work with them to enable them to understand the needs of children with high learning potential and can, in turn, support their development.
Their services include:
- telephone support
- assessments
- events for families
Potential Plus work hard to provide services at low cost or fully funded whenever possible, to support for children of high ability, (gifted/talented), parents of these children and other professionals in schools, etc.
They are a membership organisation, and welcome individuals, parents and organisations as members. Their members are able to fully access a wide range of services.
Potential UK’s telephone advice service allows for you to speak to a trained and experienced potential Plus UK advisor about a number of different things including support, useful strategies, and ideas to enrich learning etc.
A free Webchat service is operated by trained volunteers and is available during term time
