Ty Mawr is a country park and a small working farm situated beneath the Cefn Viaduct in the river Dee valley. Visitors can meet the farm animals grazing in the meadows as they walk the circular route. Longer walks from Ty Mawr include a riverside pathway to the world heritage site at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and the Cefn Heritage Trail. The visitor centre and picnic area have impressive wooden sculptures and children can enjoy the trim trail, BMX track or playground.
