The Battle of Shrewsbury took place on this site in 1403.
The Battle of Shrewsbury 1403 was one of the bloodiest battles of English History fought between King Henry IV and Henry Tudor (commonly called Harry Hotspur). You can visit this medieval site, walking the Hotspur and Royal Trails, taking in the fish pools and Battlefield Church (Saint Mary Magdalene).
