Guides, Brownies and Rainbows in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin


Girlguiding is the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK.

In Shropshire there are lots of active units running across the county with over 4000 members:

  • Rainbows: 5 to 7 years, work on a programme based on look, learn, laugh and love
  • Brownies: 7 to 10 years, explore the areas of you, community and world
  • Guides: 10 to 14 years, work in patrols on topics that interest them to gain Go For Its
  • Senior Section: 14 to 26 years (Young Leaders, Rangers, Young Guiders and Look Wider Programme), offers opportunities to girls to explore the world around them, gain confidence and become independent young women
