Shrewsbury Symphony Orchestra

Description:

The Shrewsbury Symphony Orchestra is a long-established amateur orchestra of around 70 players.  They perform to a high standard while providing fun and recreation for their members, and new player enquiries are welcome.

Rehearsals normally take place on Tuesday evenings during school term time from 7.15pm to 9.45pm, usually at the Alington Hall in Shrewsbury school.

Over the years, the Shrewsbury Symphony Orchestra has performed in various locations in and around the town.  Its regular performance venues are the historic Shrewsbury Abbey, Theatre Severn and the Alington Hall at Shrewsbury School.

The Orchestra normally gives three concerts each year, in late Autumn, Spring and early Summer, with additional ones on occasions.

For more information, please follow the link to visit their website or contact the secretary via email.
