West Felton Village Hall

Description:

West Felton Village Hall serves the parish of West Felton as a Community Centre and is also available for hire to local groups and other organisations. The hall is fully accessibile.

Facilities include:

• one large hall (large enough for a full size badminton court)
• one small hall/meeting room
• kitchen with full size cooker, fridge and electric urn with sufficient crockery/cutlery for at least 100 place settings
• store room
• disabled toilet and separate ladies and men toilets
• tables and chairs to seat up to 120 people
• demountable stage; audio equipment and stage lighting; a current entertainment and recorded music licence

The hall is an attractive, bright and airy environment which is very popular for children's parties, dances and all types of celebrations. It is suitable for use as a training / conference / meeting venue, and commercial organisations are welcome to book the hall for their use, refreshments can be organised.

The Project Group in Oswestry constructed a series of string panels showing the life and environment of West Felton and these have become a great talking point for all users of the hall and are much admired.
