Flooding and flood action plans
Description:
Flooding can happen quickly, giving you little time to act. If you live in an area that may be at risk of flooding, you should have a flood action plan for your household.
By having a flood action plan, and ensuring that everyone is familiar with it, you can minimise the disruption that you suffer and help ensure everyone’s safety should a flood occur.
To find out if your property, or a property you may be thinking of buying, is in an area likely to flood, please follow the link to the Environment Agency's Flood Map webpage.
