Mid-Shropshire Wheelers Cycling and Triathlon Club

Description:

Mid-Shropshire Wheelers (MSW) is a cycling and triathlon club open to all ages and based in central Shropshire.

The club was founded in 1925 with a strong racing bias and has produced many National Champions over the widest possible age (and distance) range plus riders of World and Olympic standard.  The club has a particularly strong youth section with members competing locally, nationally and internationally in a range of disciplines.

Mid-Shropshire Wheelers is a British Cycling Go-Ride accredited club and is affiliated to Cycling Time Trials.

The 1km traffic-free cycle circuit at the Shrewsbury Sports Village was a MSW initiative.

Activities include:  time trials, road & circuit racing, cyclo-cross, triathlon, race training & skills sessions, club runs and social events.
