Access Group (Oswestry and District)

Description:

Oswestry and District Access Group is a voluntary group working to improve access and facilities for all those who are either resident in or visiting Oswestry.

It is focused on supporting people with disabilities, the partially sighted and the hard of hearing, and parents with young children.

The group works with the local authorities, providers of goods and services, and other organisations to meet the needs and solve the problems of access throughout the Oswestry area.

Meetings are held from 10.30am to 12 noon on the second Tuesday of each month, except January, August and December, when there are social events.

Contact the group if you are:

• having difficulties gaining access to shops or other amenities
• a carer concerned about access issues
• someone who would just like to help make a difference

The group would be delighted to hear from you or welcome you to their meetings.
