Mental Health Services (Ludlow)

Description:

Mental health services in the Ludlow area are provided by Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT).

MPFT is an integrated organisation that, alongside mental health care services, also provides a number of specialist services in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin, including Learning Disabilities.

For mild to moderate mental health issues people can self-refer to their NHS Talking Therapies services. These services can support people with issues such as anxiety or low mood, and their aim is to improve health and wellbeing by offering a range of help, advice, life skills courses, supported self-help, other groups, and individual therapies for everyone aged 16 and over.

For more severe mental health concerns, there is a single point of contact for all the Trust's adult mental health services, including people living with dementia. The team provide advice and guidance to individuals, carers and partners, and the ability to book an appropriate appointment. Please do not visit their services without making an appointment.

MPFT also provide a 24/7 urgent NHS mental health service providing telephone support, advice and triage for people of all ages. This is free to call from all landlines and mobile networks. If you live in Shropshire or Telford & Wrekin please use the contact number provided.
