Shropshire Domestic Abuse Service

Description:

Shropshire Domestic Abuse Service provide a variety of support to all victims of domestic violence aged 16 and over including:

  • safe accommodation and support for those fleeing domestic violence;
  • community-based support around risk, safety and practical issues as well as emotional support;
  • recovery groups;
  • facilitated peer support.

They work in partnership with local agencies to enable victims / survivors to regain the strength and confidence to take control of their lives and to have a future free from abuse and fear. SDAS support individuals and families across the county of Shropshire.

Services can be accessed via the website, phone number below or a face-to-face drop-in service made up of a range of community-based meeting points attended by a specialist Domestic Abuse Support Officer. Drop-ins run on a monthly timetable so people can see a Domestic Abuse Worker face-to-face if they wish. These drop-ins are open to anyone over 16 who needs information, support or advice about domestic abuse.

For more information, please follow the link to visit their website. If you are attending a drop-in, please ask for Sadie.
