I CAN is the children’s communication charity that helps children with speech and language difficulties across the UK.

Knowing how difficult it can be to identify and get the right support for children with speech, language and communication needs in 2011 they set up their I CAN Help Enquiry Service line, enabling parents or those working with children to schedule a free phone call from one of their qualified speech and language therapists. Callers can discuss any concerns they may have about a child’s talking, listening or understanding, and gain more information about speech, language and communication.

The aims of the charity are to ensure that the needs of children with speech and language difficulties are recognised, understood and met, giving them the same opportunities in life as other children.
