Scope is the disability equality charity in England and Wales. They provide practical advice and emotional support whenever people need them most they also campaign to create a fairer society.
Scope has an online disability forum which is a vibrant and supportive space for disabled people, parents and carers to get disability advice and information, and talk to people with similar experiences.
Scope's helpline provides free, independent and impartial advice and support on issues that matter to disabled people and their families and is available Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am - 6pm and advisers can answer questions and talk you through a wide range of topics connected with disability, including:
- benefits
- finance
- social care
- work
- equipment and assistive technology
- housing and home adaptations
Scope also offer family service including sleep services for children, emotional support for parents and family activities as well as employment support service. Their website includes information and resources for disabled people and their families.
