Disabled Photographers' Society

Description:

The Disabled Photographers' Society is a registered charity, founded in 1968, to encourage people with all types of disability to take up, or continue with, photography in its many forms.

The society, which is run by a group of dedicated unpaid volunteers, has grown steadily and there are now members from all over the UK.

Membership comes from all walks of life and areas of the country and represents a large and diverse range of photographic abilities.

Most of the committee and helpers have physical disabilities and can readily appreciate the challenges and diversity of solutions each disabled photographer needs.

They can offer advice or help with modifications to camera equipment so that their members are able to continue to take photographs. They offer technical support and help for disabled photographers and act as a source of information on all aspects of photography for people with disabilities.

For more information, please follow the link to visit their website.
