Quakers (Religious Society of Friends) Clun Valley
Description:
The Clun Valley Quakers meet for worship every Sunday at 10.30am for one hour, and visitors to the meeting are always welcome.
Meetings are held at Grange Road Community Centre in Bishops Castle each Sunday, except for the first Sunday of the month when it is held at Haselhurst Community Centre in Clun.
Quakers say:
- There is something sacred in all people.
- All people are equal before God.
- Religion is about the whole of life.
- In stillness we find a deeper sense of God's presence.
- True religion leads to respect for the earth and all life upon it.
- Each person is unique, precious, a child of God.
Quakers are active in peace work, human rights and social reform.
