Carers' Support Service - Carers Trust 4all (Shropshire)
Description:
The Carers’ Support Service provides information, advice, help and support to adults who are caring for someone over 18; family members, friends and neighbours who are supporting someone who is frail and elderly, has a physical disability, learning disability, long term condition, mental health or substance misuse problem. The service includes a telephone support line, home visits and 1:1 advice and information, carer training, newsletter, support groups, outings, events and activities across Shropshire.
Respite Breaks - Carers Trust4all Carer Support Workers can provide practical respite care in the home, so that carers can take a well earned break, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is in safe hands. This can be through a private paid arrangement or funded basis (if you are eligible).

If something happens to you (the carer)
The Carers Emergency Respite Service (CERS) gives carers peace of mind if something unexpected happens to the carer, such as an accident or hospitalisation. A Carer Support Worker will provide care at home, taking the role of the carer, for a limited time while the situation is resolved. Follow the related link below for more information.
