Flying Scholarships for Disabled People
Flying Scholarships for Disabled People (FSDP) is a charity dedicated to helping disabled people to discover their true potential through the mental and physical stimulation of learning to fly a light aircraft.
Each full scholarship student completes a 6-week residential course of training in a UK flying school, which includes 45 hours of airborne tuition and ground school.
Scholarships are provided at no cost to the students.
You can apply for a Scholarship if you are:
- registered disabled
- over 18 years old
- not in full-time education
- resident in the UK
- allowed to drive by DVLA
