Business Enterprise Support (BES)

Business Enterprise Support (BES) as a social enterprise, is a non-profit organisation aiming to help people, of all backgrounds, to become self-employed. They were established in 1983, and have helped everyone from gardeners to computer programmers; from artists to plumbers; from cleaners to photographers.

Every business is different, so experienced enterprise coaches and business advisors provide support that is tailored to each individual’s need. Questions are either answered directly or you may be signposted to the appropriate specialist organization. There is the opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs at group workshops or via online forums.

The support continues after you have started your new business, with networking events for members and master-classes covering specific areas of running a business, such as social media and managing public relations.
