Coronavirus (COVID-19)

In accordance with the latest government announcement regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, users should be aware of the instruction to stay at home, and to only leave the house for food, health reasons or essential work. You should also stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people.

In light of this, the groups, clubs and societies listed within the Shropshire Community Directory will be unable to meet until further notice, and there may be a reduced service for other local and national organisations.

For further information, please contact the individual groups or organisations listed.

Say Yes (Albrighton)

Description:

This Friday night youth club at St Mary's Church Centre is loud, lively, fun and a great place to make and meet new friends. As well as the regular activities on offer (table football, pool, table tennis, music and crafts), there is the very popular food spot where some of the young people cook their favourite food to share with all the other members. Menu items can range from pizza, chips, chicken dippers to baking and decorating cupcakes and chocolate brownies.

The members have produced a shoebox which went to Africa, plus they sold cookies and cakes at the autumn fayre and donated the proceeds to the church fund.

Weather permitting, there might be football, badminton and team games outside. For those who choose a less active night they can sit, chill and chat.
