Music Teachers in Shropshire


A member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians Register of Professional Private Music Teachers will:

  • be a professionally qualified, experienced music teacher
  • have a supporting reference from a pupil (if 18 or over) or the parent/guardian of a pupil
  • follow the ISM Members Code of Conduct
  • follow the ISM Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy
  • signed child protection declarations
  • possession of a DBS enhanced disclosure applied for through the ISM specifically for the role of Private Music Teacher.

Shropshire Music Service provides instrumental, vocal and curriculum support for schools throughout Shropshire. The aim of the Music Service is to provide, develop and support the highest quality of music education in Shropshire and to give young people performing opportunities in schools and in the community.

Telford and Wrekin Music Service provides a wide range of instrumental and singing lessons for children and young people in schools across Telford & Wrekin at all levels of achievement.
