Deaf N Able is an organisation providing advice and support to deaf and hard of hearing people, and offering deaf awareness training.

As someone who has worn hearing aids for over 15 years, Tom has empathy when running his "coping with deafness through lipreading" classes.  These classes are open to anyone who has a hearing loss or who wishes to understand and help one of the 70,000 hearing impaired people in Shropshire.  He can provide advice to affected people and their families and friends, and is also a qualified lip reading teacher.

Tom is a founder member of the Shropshire Deaf and Hard of Hearing Forum and is the Chairman of the West Mercia Police Force Disability Independent Advisory Group, as well as being an Effective Hearing Lecturer on the The ShropshIre Rural Community Council

Deaf N Able organise deaf awareness classes for businesses who are concerned about the welfare of their workforce and customers.
