Shropshire Carers' Support Service (Crossroads Together)

Description:

The Carers’ Support Service provides information, advice, help and support to adults who are caring for someone over 18; family members, friends and neighbours who are supporting someone who is frail and elderly, has a physical disability, learning disability, long term condition, mental health or substance misuse problem. The service includes a telephone support line, home visits and 1:1 advice and information, carer training, newsletter, support groups, outings, events and activities across Shropshire.

Respite Breaks - Crossroads Together Carer Support Workers can provide practical respite care in the home, so that carers can take a well earned break, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is in safe hands. This can be through a private paid arrangement or funded basis (if you are eligible).
