A condition of the central nervous system. It is the most common disabling neurological disease among young adults and affects around 100, 000 people in the UK. Most often diagnosewed in people between the ages of 20 and 40 and women are twice as likely as men to develop Ms.

The Shrewsbury branch offers , offers support, self help, advice and friendship to people with Multiple Sclerosis, their families and friends

The Shrewsbury MS support group meets the first Thursday of each month from 10am to 3pm with an exercise class in the morning and a speaker in the afternoon.

The Shrewsbury MS group runs a free yoga class for MS sufferers, but everyone is welcome. The class runs on the second Thursday of each month at The Lantern in Shrewsbury.

The Shrewsbury MS group also runs a Tai Chi class every third and fourth Thursday of each month from 1.30pm to 3pm.
