Les Miles Des Marches (The Marcher Earldom)

Description:

Les Miles des Marches is a Shropshire based historical re-enactment group, established in 1991.

The group recreates life and society from 1066, the Battle of Shrewsbury 1403, and up to the War of the Roses. It uses combat and crafts to bring the group together in a friendly unit.

It enables these re-creations to inform, educate and entertain the general public. The group portrays aspects of medieval life including military combats, civilian crafts, music, dance, and archery.

Both families and singles are encouraged and can participate in civilian and craft and combat activities.
