Coronavirus (COVID-19)

In accordance with the latest government announcement regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, users should be aware of the instruction to stay at home, and to only leave the house for food, health reasons or essential work. You should also stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people.

In light of this, the groups, clubs and societies listed within the Shropshire Community Directory will be unable to meet until further notice, and there may be a reduced service for other local and national organisations.

For further information, please contact the individual groups or organisations listed.

Be Child Cancer Aware

Description:

The symptoms of Child Cancers are sometimes easy to recognize, such as the large abdominal mass in a child with Wilm’s Tumour. Some other symptoms of cancer in children might include fever, frequent infections, bone pain, night sweats, vomiting, and headaches, all of which children often have when they have more common and less serious viral infections or other common problems of childhood. Thankfully, most people will never experience the devastation that a diagnosis of Cancer in a Child or Teenager causes. However, it is a fact that Children and Teenagers do get Cancer and more needs to be done to raise awareness. You can find out more about our campaign on our web pages
