The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) is the leading self-regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture in the UK. They are a member-led organisation, governed by an elected Governing Board and driven by Specialist staff.
Since there is no government legislation in the UK covering acupuncture, it is advisable to visit the BAcC website to help you choose a reputable practitioner.
All BAcC members have to be qualified and follow codes of ethics and practice which can be viewed online.
