Coronavirus (COVID-19)

In accordance with the latest government announcement regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, users should be aware of the instruction to stay at home, and to only leave the house for food, health reasons or essential work. You should also stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people.

In light of this, the groups, clubs and societies listed within the Shropshire Community Directory will be unable to meet until further notice, and there may be a reduced service for other local and national organisations.

For further information, please contact the individual groups or organisations listed.

Think Good Feel Good

Managing Anger

Managing Anger is an 8 week programme for primary and secondary aged children to understand triggers of anger and to defuse and manage them more effectively. This is one of the tools available to schools through Think Good Feel Good which supports children and young people with their emotional health and wellbeing. Children who are mentally healthy are able to develop psychological, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. Mental health is accompanied by a sense of personal wellbeing. A ability to get along with others, to be able to cope with the normal range of problems/setbacks and learn from them. Good mental health enables children to play and learn, develop a sense of right and wrong and make and maintain positive relationships. It is not uncommon for children and young people to experience mental health difficulties. Some schools may not have the capacity or resources to deliver Managing Anger so please check with the school.
