Shropshire HIV / AIDS Clinical Nurse Specialist

Description:

This service is available to people who have HIV, their partners, friends and family, providing information and practical support across a wide range of issues including:

• questions about HIV
• information about symptoms
• treatment options
• opportunities for friends and family to talk to someone with clinical knowledge
• keeping your GP and carers better informed about illnesses and treatment

The Clinical Nurse Specialist is available to anyone who is:

• HIV positive and living in Shropshire or Telford and Wrekin, or accessing the other services in Shropshire or Telford and Wrekin
• living in Shropshire or Telford and Wrekin with a friend or relative who is HIV positive, no matter where they live
• a carer, whether professional or non-professional, who is involved in providing a service to people living with HIV.
