Description:

The British Deaf Association (BDA) is a registered charity and membership organisation run by Deaf people for Deaf people.

The BDA delivers a range of services to achieve its aims of empowering Deaf people to overcome the difficulties they face on a daily basis.  They provide accessible information through the British Deaf News and their website that is fully accessible in English and BSL formats.

They also work with local Deaf communities to develop self-help groups / forums that can negotiate with and influence local service providers.
