Getting Around

Some people may need support to travel, find accessible transport or they may just need information and advice about travel.  There are organisations that can give information and support with needs like travelling in a wheelchair, getting on and off buses and trains and travelling in a scooter. You can get support to travel if you need it or do not wish to travel alone.

There are also details of mobility shops, organisations to hire mobility aids from and shop mobility schemes to help you get about when you reach your destination.

Travel South Yorkshire Journey Planner provides help to plan your journey using public transport. You will find a link to the journey planner on each entry in the directory.
