In March 2021, The Rutland Agricultural Society handed over ‘the keys’ to a 1 acre grassy field, shaped with historic ridge and furrow to Root-and-Branch Out CIC. The site would be transformed into an accessible, productive, educational and beneficial growing space for the whole community.

Growers Row has an initial development plan to include; raised beds, keyhole beds, soft fruit, tree fruit, wildflower meadows, water harvesting and seating to sit and enjoy the view. Open to the community, Growers Row will host volunteer days, workshops and education events, engaging with many community sectors.

Join us at Growers Row for some gardening, fresh air, and to enjoy being outdoors in all seasons. 

Every Wednesday at Growers Row, Rutland Showground on the outskirts of Oakham. 

Free parking & cycle friendly.
