Steady Steps Class (Falls Prevention)

Sessions are for beginners to help improve your balance & coordination, ease of performing daily living activities, bone density & muscle mass, confidence (reduce fear of falling), emotional wellbeing, overall health and to reduce your risk of having a fall. 

Steady Steps is a rejuvenating exercise programme helping to develop strength and balance. Classes are aimed at those over 65 who may have previously fallen or worry about falling, or feel unsteady on their feet and would like to improve their balance.

Sessions last 1 hour, and booking is essential. 

The steady steps courses are funded for free for 24 weeks and the steady steps plus classes are £4.50.

Backwards chaining (getting up and down off the floor)
