A. All Content submitted by you is accurate, true and up to date and, if your Content contains opinions, these are your own and genuinely and truly held by you.
B: All Content submitted by you may be used on this website in any way required. Content may be rejected, edited, moderated, removed or deleted at our absolute discretion.
C. All Content is original to you and you are fully entitled (and have all necessary consents) to submit the Content (you must also have the consent of anyone featured in the Content to provide this to us) and you are happy for this to be used as set out in the Terms.
D. Nothing in the Content will infringe the copyright or any other right of any person, breach any contract or duty of confidence, be defamatory, obscene, offensive, indecent, harassing, threatening, breach anyone’s privacy or may constitute a contempt of court or be calculated to bring any person into disrepute.
E. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to ensure any services that you list in the directory comply with appropriate standards including legal requirements, industry requirements and best practices.
Personal information you are asked to supply on your registration form "Your Personal Data" will be used as follows:
- to administer your registration and manage your Account and associated site permissions levels;
- to support audit trails of which may be used for site reports;
- in the case of directory contributors, in making decisions about whether any directory Content you submit should be accepted, rejected or used.
- in the case of professional users, to identify you as a member of staff and thereby support your access to specific applications and data including recording your use of those applications and access to those data;
On-site applications such as the health and wellbeing planner may store information that you provide onto the website server for technical reasons. In such cases the information will be securely held and only available to its creator and to site administrators. This information will be subject to expiry dates depending on the application and administrators will periodically review and delete files which are no longer needed.
Your Personal Data will be kept private and confidential, and will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent unless there is an overriding legal requirement to share without consent, for example a court order or request from law enforcement agencies that satisfies appropriate legal exemption(s) under data protection legislation.
To support the council and CCG, statistical reports will be produced and on the use of specific on-site applications; this will help manage effective use of the website and to review how well services are meeting the needs of the population. These reports may include demographic and statistical data but will not include person-identifiable information.
Third party content on the website is subject to checks before inclusion but the council and CCG cannot be held responsible for the services provided by those third parties or the standards thereof; the council and CCG will accept no liability for any loss or injury resulting from use of third party services listed in the directory.
If you become aware of any misuse of content or wish to complain about any content on this website or believe any of your rights have been violated, you can notify us via the website contact details.
You may terminate your account at any time, for any reason, by following the instructions within your account pages. Even after your account is terminated (for whatever reason) the Terms will remain in full force and effect. Your directory Content will remain on the website unless you request its removal. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to any part of the website at any time if you breach the Terms or for technical reasons.
The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes arising from this website or Terms will be decided only by the English courts.
